Lucan County Bar Blue (2016-17) Marcks Celtic Red (2017-18) and Glenville (2018-19) were tht winners of the South County Dublin Darts League Division 1 up until the COVID-19 Outbreak, which left the 2019-20 season unfinished with CPM in first place. As well as winning the Division the pub teams gained promotion to the Premier Division.

Ireland’s Strongest Man, Pa O’Dwyer, who represented Team Celts at the World Championships, came 6th of 14 in this competition in Uzbekistan in 2017. Managing to finish 12th in the Log Lift and 7th in the Viking Press, Pa made his name in the third event, the dealift, managing to lift 520 kg, just 4 kg off the World record and placing him in first place in the event. In the Final event, the medley he finished 3rd, achieving 6th overall.

With the first three races cancelled due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, it was diown to two races in the Irish Mountain Running Association Irish Championships in 2020. Brian Furey took the top spot with 4th in Lugnaquilla (Co. Wiklow) and 3rd in Galtymore for a combined score of 7. Ciara Largey was the number 1 Woman with a combined score of 34 (13 in Lugnaquilla and 21 in Galtymore. With the races in Mount Errigal, Carrauntoohill and Mweelrea postponed or cancelled only those who scored in two races were counted.

Gymnastics Ireland Women’s Artistic National Team Results 2019 [Reference: 2]

Report

The Gymnastics Ireland Women’s Artistic National Series was held overthe weekend of 9th to 10th November 2019, with Excel Team winning four of the Team Events, Carrigaline Team winning five, Renmore Team two, and Nadia Team, Arabian Team, Leap Team, KIlkenny Team, Limerick team and Old Bawn Team winning one each.

In all 217 teams entered the various Age Groups and Categories. Renmore Team won the FIG (Federation of International Gymastics) Category, ahead of Salto Team and Janz Team. Excel won the 3-5 Plus, 6-8 Plus, Advanced and Intermediate Categories. Carrigalines wins all came in the Level 2A to Level 5 Categories, as did all the other Team victories for Renmore Team, Nadia Team, Arabian Team, Kilkenny Team, Limerick Team and Old Bawn Team.
